2013 WA Grand Prix

The 2013 WA Open winner in the Paul Meyer Awards was David Ellis with George-Carolin Unkovich runner-up and Eddy Seah third (fractionally ahead of Gordon Dunlop). The Major (Under 1850) was won by George Carolin-Unkovich with Ned Tomic a close second and Gary Donaldson third. Gary Donaldson once again won the Minor Division (Under 1550) followed by juniors Ignatius Yap, Sri Krishna Dharmapuri and Sean Xiong. George Carolin-Unkovich won the Junior category, well ahead of Ignatius Yap, Sri Krishna Dharmapuri and Sean Xiong. While the events were reasonably supported by leading players and juniors, numbers were down on previous years, particularly among the middle ranked players.
