Report by David Ellis: For 2016, the WA Grand Prix included two extra tournaments, the Metro and Southern Suburbs Open. As this seemed to disadvantage country players a special prize fund and trophy were set up for country players. The year included the largest ever WA GP event, the Christmas Open, which followed on the Australian Inter-schools Championships, with 42 entrants. Events: Christmas Open, Gufeld Cup, Perth Open, SW Open, Willetton Open, Metro Open, Southern Suburbs Open |
