The 2003 Harris Edwardes competition was played on consecutive Mondays at the Chess Centre at the Kings Hotel in Perth and was contested by 12 teams. Gordon Dunlop did a splendid job as DOP. A division was won by Fremante who defeated Metro in the final (2.5 to 1.5). Top scorer in this division was Adam Haasse. In the B division, Fremantle were too good for Metro in the final (3.0 to 1.0) with Jack Saffen and Mark Chapman being the top board scorers. C division resulted in a tie (2.0 to 2.0) between Midland and Metro C1. The top scorers were Dennis Holland and Andrew Arnold. |
