2003 Harris/Edwardes Trophy


The 2003 Harris Edwardes competition was played on consecutive Mondays at the Chess Centre at the Kings Hotel in Perth and was contested by 12 teams. Gordon Dunlop did a splendid job as DOP.

A division was won by Fremante who defeated Metro in the final (2.5 to 1.5). Top scorer in this division was Adam Haasse.

In the B division, Fremantle were too good for Metro in the final (3.0 to 1.0) with Jack Saffen and Mark Chapman being the top board scorers.

C division resulted in a tie (2.0 to 2.0) between Midland and Metro C1. The top scorers were Dennis Holland and Andrew Arnold.
