On Sunday, 20th January a Blitz tournament was held at the Rhein-Donau Club in Myaree. Despite the very warm weather there were 20 participants. Fortunately, inside the club had good quality air-conditioning and iced water. The tournament was a dominated by Patrick Gong who achieved a perfect score of 11 from 11. There were several unrated players that performed well in particular Alistair Berry with his draw against with Adam Kelly (CM) which won the Upset Prize and Junior newcomer, Kobe Gilmore.
