2020 Kingsley Open


The Kingsley Open was played over 2 Sundays from the 15th November and including the 22nd November 2020.

Despite the turnout of just 11 people, a strong field was gathered and some good chess was played.

Prizes were separated into 2 divisions - the Open and under 1750 with the top 3 prizes awarded to each division.

Congratulations to Jamie Laubbacher who won the event with a score of 5.5/6. Well Done Jamie.

Special mention must also go to 9yo Emily Zhang who had a great game against Oscar and was able to hold him to a draw. She is definitely one to watch in the very near future. Well done Emily.

The next tournament is the Christmas Open scheduled for the 5th and 6th December.
